An avid reader of Make Magazine, with no prior experience in 3D printing or modeling, I decided in September 2017 to take the plunge and purchase a 3D printer. This was 2 days after Prusa Research announced their brand new MK3 printer. I didn’t know anything about it, but it looked very promising and I immediately pre-ordered it. Over time, it has gone through all of the available upgrades and is now a MK3S+. It has been a very faithful workhorse and I feel very lucky to have made that choice. In late 2023, the MK3S was replaced by a multi-tool Prusa XL, opening up a new world of multi-color and multi-material prints.
Some of my designs are available on my Printables and Thingiverse pages.
